QAPCO Participates in SCHOOL CAREER FAIR 2012

QAPCO believe that a Career Fair is a perfect backdrop for identifying and matching top quality employees and employers. Keeping in line with its policy of encouraging Qatari nationals to view the company as an employer of first choice, QAPCO enthusiastically participated in the Qatar Independent Technical School Career Fair 2012.
By recognizing and hiring the best talent available in the country, QAPCO aims to become a benchmark for those young professionals keen to further their learning and career opportunities. Speaking with other participants, that included aspiring applicants, QAPCO’s Acting Head of Qatarization Mr. Mejali Al Kuwari, emphasized the need to actively support the process of knowledge acquisition at both technical and general levels, so that better integration into the job market is achieved by young and talented Qatari nationals. He said: “Career Fairs are a very useful medium to demonstrate to young people that the job - market is vibrant and opportunities are forthcoming. They must prepare themselves to fit into Qatar’s 2030 vision of self-reliance.”
The General Manager of QITS, Abdullah Shams, presented QAPCO with the Certificate of Active Participation, and appreciated the role QAPCO played towards the success of the Career Fair. QAPCO received 72 applications in 4 major disciplines – Electrical, Process, Mechanical and IT - from hopeful job aspirants, which amply indicates its appeal with job seekers.
